Academic Achievements

Professor XIONG Weiwei synthesized the largest discrete supertetrahedral T5 clusters by the utilization of ionothermal method. He developed the surfactant-thermal method to prepare novel crystalline matel chalcogenides for the first time, and successfully encapsulated polymer chains inside the nano-channels of crystalline metal chalcogenides. In recent years, he has published 28 SCI papers on Journal of the American Chemical Society, AngewandteChemie-International Edition, Chemical Communications, Inorganic Chemistry, etc.
